I love how when we listen to a podcast it works itself into the day’s lessons. For example we listened to Daniel Boone and the Cumberland gap and in social studies we were talking about the westward movement. It works!
The students bring up facts from the podcast all the time.
They love to see Youtube clips after talks&walks because they were inspired to hear or know more.
Thank you Walking Classroom.

My fifth graders listened to the Westward Expansion podcast yesterday. The information was presented better than it is in our social studies book! I could hear giggles as they were walking when they heard about the funny things the fortyniners did to try to find gold. They love The Walking Classroom!
