TWC get students excited, energized, and educated

Excited, Energized and Educated!

Our 5th grade students at Winter Park Elementary School in Wilmington, NC have really enjoyed their first semester participating in The Walking Classroom. They are excited, energized and educated each time we walk! What a combination for success all day long.

They had the big idea to invite our principal to walk with them this morning. They voted Friday on which podcast they thought would interest him most. It was a beautiful morning to listen to the Statue of Liberty podcast.

Mr. Slovik is a busy man and we’re keeping tabs to see if his morning walk is keeping him energized all day!
