As autumn hits its stride in October, we will hit the road! The Walking Classroom’s fall schedule has staff members making appearances at several state and regional events and conferences. Maybe we’ll see you at one of them!
Health Hustle – Allen, TX
October 25
The Health Hustles focuses on making healthy changes! This four-hour event is sponsored by The Allen Council of PTA and Allen Independent School District’s elementary schools. It will introduce folks to available resources. There will be plenty of health and wellness opportunities provided too. Who better to be at The Walking Classroom’s booth for this event than creator and founder, Laura Fenn!
NCACE Conference – Greensboro, NC
October 24-26
This statewide conference is sponsored by the North Carolina Association of Compensatory Educators. This group works to ensure quality services for educationally disadvantaged children in North Carolina. Debra Ives will present and exhibit at this event.
VAIS Leading Learning Conference – Richmond, VA
November 6
With “Cultivating Curiosity and Joy” as its theme, the Virginia Association of Independent Schools’ conference is all about creating engaging learning environments. Look for Debra Ives at The Walking Classroom’s booth! Be sure to stop by and “engage” in some conversation!
NAGC 64th Annual Convention – Charlotte, NC
November 9-12
Natalie Dekle will represent TWC at the National Association for Gifted Children’s annual convention. The event offers over 300 sessions, roundtable discussions, and a poster gallery. It also provides the opportunity to network with some 3,000 other attendees. That’s right! You’ll be among teachers, parents and researchers who work so that children from all backgrounds can reach their personal best!
