I am a third-grade teacher at Nicholson Elementary School in Marietta, Georgia. This is my twelfth year in education, and it seems that each year it becomes more and more challenging to find what motivates my students to shine their brightest. Therefore, I am always seeking out ways to help them find their passion and motivation in their learning. When I learned about The Walking Classroom, I knew this was something my students would enjoy.
My students cheer when I tell them it is a day they get to do The Walking Classroom. Along with their excitement, it is motivating for me as their teacher knowing I am helping them learn and learn about healthy movement and ways. From a classroom full of inquisitive loving and fun students in Marietta, we thank you. Just the other day, we were able to enjoy the warm Georgia sunshine while listening to our podcast on Adverbs of Manner (4-#10, Complete-#14).
Thank you for making a difference in the lives of my students. We appreciate your generosity!
