West Park Place Elementary has been utilizing TWC since the beginning of the school year with our third, fourth, and fifth grade students.
A Difference Academically and Behaviorally
I have been using TWC for a few months now and I can attest to the difference it has made not only academically, but behaviorally as well.
Thanks to the Oak Foundation!
Our fifth grade was the fortunate recipient of a granted set of Walking Classroom materials, thanks to the Oak Foundation.
Wonderful to Get Some Fresh Air
We have had a lot of snow and today the temperature reached 50 degrees. It was wonderful to get some fresh air and listen to a podcast!
TWC Has Been a Success!
The Walking Classroom has been such a success in my classroom this year! I teach a seventh grade gifted and talented cohort in ELA.
Excited about a Walking Classroom Lesson
Whenever I tell my kids that we are getting ready to do a lesson with The Walking Classroom, they get really excited!
Engaging Activity for Students
As a teacher of gifted students, I’m always looking for activities that are engaging, creative and stimulate learning for my students.
Helping Students Find Motivation
This is my twelfth year in education, and am always seeking out ways to help students find their passion and motivation in their learning.
Supporting Different Learning Styles
I work in a private therapeutic special education school and many of my students have a variety of different learning styles.
